Midlands State University (MSU), in collaboration with Trust Academy, proudly hosted its diploma graduation ceremony last week. The event was a joyous celebration of student success, bringing together graduates, families, lecturers, and invited guests.
Graduates crossed the stage with pride as they received their diplomas, marking the end of years of dedication and hard work. The occasion was not only a personal milestone for the students but also a reflection of MSU’s and Trust Academy’s shared commitment to academic excellence.
At Trust Academy, success is built on determination, resilience, and vision. For Muringa Eugenia, graduating with a Diploma in Topflight Executive Office Administration (in association with Great Zimbabwe University) was more than an academic achievement — it was a personal victory. Muringa’s dedication and excellence earned her the honour of being named Best Graduating Female Student- Trust Academy Book Prize Recipient
She also received a television set from Keson Electronics — recognition of her outstanding performance and commitment to excellence.

The Diploma in Software Engineering at Midlands State University is designed as an entry-level qualification that emphasizes real-world applications over purely theoretical knowledge. With the technology sector booming, this diploma is in high demand, opening up a wide array of career opportunities for graduates.
Individuals with this qualification can readily find positions that do not necessarily require advanced programming skills. Many graduates pursue roles such as Software Developer, where they apply their training to create software solutions that meet user needs. Another common pathway is becoming a Business Analyst, utilizing software engineering knowledge to analyze data, predict trends, and assist organizations in strategic planning.
Ordinary Level passes including English Language and Mathematics.
