Trust Academy recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Utande in a move which will see Trust Academy offering the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Course under the stewardship of Utande. The MOU marked the beginning of a long-term partnership that will strengthen the two institutions’ cooperation in research and academic pursuits.

Dr Eliot Dzindikwa the Director of Studies for Trust Academy said, “With the increased need and use of the internet in Zimbabwe, Trust Academy will be training the students so that they can be VSAT technicians, installers and distributors.” This course will be run over a period of 40 hours consisting of both theory and practical sessions. Anyone with an information technology background can enroll for the course. After completing the course, one will be given a certificate of competence.

Trust Academy, as an institution known for Training …for Excellence will ensure that the students are well trained being guided by the aim of the course which is to provide participants with knowledge and skills to support and maintain the VSAT equipment.

The first intake of this training course is expected to start on the 16^th of October this year.
