Trust Academy, on the 24th of October signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) in a move which will see Trust Academy offering exciting programs under the stewardship of Chinhoyi University of Technology. The MOA marked the beginning of a long-term partnership that will strengthen the two institutions’ cooperation in research, innovation and academic pursuits.

The signing ceremony was held at the prestigious CUT Hotel in Chinhoyi. The occasion was punctuated with speeches and rounds of applause as the two institutions celebrated their strategic partnership.

Dr. N. Zengeni CUT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Executive Dean said, ‘Trust Academy will collaborate with Chinhoyi University of Technology through the following four Schools: School of Hospitality and Tourism, School of Entrepreneurship & Business Sciences, School of Engineering Sciences & Technology and Institute of Lifelong Learning &Development.”

On the occasion, Trust Academy Director of Studies Dr. Eliot Dzindikwa remarked, “We are excited to partner with CUT. As the Director of Studies my duty is to ensure that we are offering quality programs, products and embrace our Heritage-Based Education 5.0. We promise to do the best as per required mandate by both institutions”.

The Principal for Trust Academy Mr Mark Dembure in his opening remarks mentioned that the college believes that “all good things are worth waiting for. Negotiations for this partnership took long but we were patient. As an institution we promise to do great and maintain the relationship that we agreed on. This associate relationship will help us in equipping students with knowledge and skills which will be relevant for their lifetime and help them to survive. As Trust Academy we are prepared for the journey”.

Dr Kazembe from CUT said, “as CUT we are also happy that we are now official partners, and we hope the journey will be exciting. We are willing to learn much from you as you learn from us too”.

The Managing Director for Trust Academy Mr Taurai Mataka, said, “As an institution known for Training for Excellence, Trust Academy will ensure that the students are well trained being guided by the university. We are excited that graduates from these courses will be considered to study for various degrees with the university. We promise to do our best in promoting and protecting our brands”.
